The Best Fall Scents at Yankee Candle
If you love candles, then you are probably a fan of Yankee Candle. Yankee Candle sells great candles all year round. The offer everything from small tarts to use in a tart burner on up to the large 22 ounce jar candles. Yankee Candle also sells other items like candle holders, matches, and even lip balm. You can get many of your favorite scents for the car because they also sell air fresheners.
Yankee Candle is a popular store all the time, but I believe the best time of year to shop at Yankee Candle is in the fall. Not only does the store carry creepy Halloween candle holders and accessories, they also have some of the best autumn scents around. This year, Yankee Candle has brought back fragrances like Autumn Leaves, Spiced Pumpkin, and (my favorite) Maple Pancakes. Maple Pancakes smells like you've been baking pancakes all morning.
A few favorites that are popular in the fall, yet are sold year round are Macintosh Spice, Cranberry Chutney, and Sage & Citrus. The end of the summer is the best time to stock up on your autumn favorites at Yankee Candle. Yankee Candle offers a number of promotions, including tarts and sampler candles at only $1 a piece during the end of August and beginning of September.
The Best Fall Scents
In my opinion, the best fall Yankee Candle scents are Maple Pancakes and Macintosh Spice. If you like the smell of maple, Maple Pancakes is the candle for you. Also, Yankee Candle once had a Maple Sugar fragrance. If you were a fan, but you are unable to find this scent any longer, I highly recommend Maple Pancakes. It is not the same scent, but it is very similar.
If you enjoy the smell of fresh apples or the regular Macintosh scent available at Yankee Candle, I would recommend you give the Macintosh Spice a try. I find that Macintosh Spice gives more of a baked apple pie smell, while Macintosh gives just a plain apple fragrance. Macintosh Spice smells especially nice during the autumn and the winter because it gives a warm, cozy feel to any home.
Halloween at Yankee Candle
Yankee Candle believes in going all out for Halloween. They have a Halloween Preview at the store every August and they typically give away an item to customers, such as a small scented candle. If you enjoy Halloween, you must drop by Yankee Candle sometime in August, September, or October to check out the candle holders and accessories.
The Boney Bunch likes to make their appearance each year at Yankee Candle for Halloween. The collection always features a number of ghoulish skeletons in different poses. Often, there is a story that goes along with each display. Make sure to drop by before the end of October to see them.
You can also enjoy fun Halloween scented candles during the fall. Yankee Candle has a Candy Corn scented candle. They also usually stock an interesting variety of swirled candles which takes two of your favorite fall scents, and swirls them into one candle. You certainly do not want to miss out on what I insist is the best time of year to visit Yankee Candle!
Before You Shop...
Don't forget to go online to Yankee Candle's website to sign up for email coupons. You will receive coupons regularly in your email inbox. You will also learn when to visit Yankee Candle for the best sales. If you are registered with Yankee Candle, sometimes you will even get coupons in the mail. I often get coupons for $10 off a $25 purchase. It is a great deal and who doesn't like to save money? If you love candles like I love candles, I highly recommend signing up online at Yankee Candle and then visiting them in the fall when you can buy the best scented candles.
