Exterior Tile in Cement

We are in the progress of buying a home and moving my hot tub.  On the new cement I would like to add a handful of tiles as a decoration - any one done this?  Does it work or is it a nuance for maintenance?

The last cement that I did was edged in brick - very pricey but oh, the results were stunning.  I don't have the funds for that project and was looking for something more frugal yet a tiny bit of character.

BTW - I was able to maintain my beloved hot tub when I negotiated with my new husband that I would give up my hot tub IF he forever gave up massages!  No further discussion was needed.

Tile is very low maintenance and great for wet areas.  Make sure the cement is level, especially if laying larger tile.

Great tip!  I have to have my hot tub level.  Thank you!
