Top End of the World Predictions for 2016

Updated on January 1, 2016

Will the World End in 2016?

End of the world is always a hot discussion topic. Every year we hear new and old theories about how the world will end during that year. I have followed the End of the Times theories for quite some time now. I now believe that some people make it their full time job to predict the end of the world, and very many of them do make a lot of money while misleading other people into believing that this is it - the world will end for sure on this day. Think about 2012. How many people published books, sold state of the art bunkers, extra food and clothing to those who believed into the Mayan Calendar prophecy about December 2012 end of the world? The answer to this question is - millions of people made millions of dollars based on the 2012 end of the world prophecies! Are you one of those people who have spent their money because of the 2012 end of the world prophecies? Don't be ashamed, you are not alone, I'm guilty too.

At the same time, as history teaches us, very many civilizations have been completely wiped out from existence during numerous catastrophic events which took place in the past. We simply can't ignore these facts and pretend that the possibility of the end of the world doesn't exist. Civilizations like Atlantis and many others, did exist and have disappeared because of some catastrophic event. Scientist have officially confirmed that pole shifts did take place in the past and archeological discoveries of man-made structures deep on the ocean floor are not some kind of sci-fi fantasy.

When it comes to prophecies and predictions concerning the end of the world, it's essential to examine the facts, analyze the possibilities and check the credibility of the source. These are the key points when you are trying to find the truth about the end of the world in 2016. In any case, you should be always prepared to take care of yourself and your family without being constantly reminded that the end of the world is just around the corner.

Asteroid is to Hit Earth in May 2016

This prediction is based on the prophecy of Pastor Ricardo Salazar from the Global Church of the King of Israel, in Tokyo, Japan. According to him, on May 16, 2016 - amazing number coincidence- 1.2 billion people on planet Earth will die because of the catastrophic asteroid impact. This asteroid supposedly travels at the speed of 30,000 km per hour and is about 6 miles in diameter. This killer asteroid will hit the Earth somewhere in the ocean, generating numerous tsunamis which will kill very many people and bring starvation to the rest. He also predicts that horrible diseases will kill millions of people after this disaster, and the remaining survivors will be killing each other for food. According to Pastor Ricardo Salazar, this tragic event of May 16, 2016, will mark the countdown to the coming on Anti-Christ in 2020 who will offer piece and food to desperate population of planet Earth.

NASA has not commented on the predictions of Pastor Salazar. This may be due to the fact that he had predicted similar event in 2015 and it turned out to be a false alarm. But, as we all know from the National Geographic and History Channel documentaries, very many scientists predict that our planet very well may meet its end because of the catastrophic asteroid impact in the future. In fact, it's not a question of "if", it's a question of "when".

How to Prepare for Asteroid Impact

As known from history, asteroid impact will have quite a devastating effect on planet Earth and its population. Preparing for this type of disaster can be very tricky not knowing where the asteroid may hit and what will be result of such an impact. Preparing for the asteroid impact should be treated just like a regular preparation for the end of the world. Make sure to store enough food and water for your family to survive. Purchase MREs - Meals Ready to Eat - which have a long shelf life and will ensure the survival of your family. Make sure to store enough supplies including lots of medical supplies to help your family through the difficult times of recovery. Having a reliable heat and water source is very important as well. Learn how to improvise with the limited supplies. Educate yourself on how to use natural resources for survival with the minimum supplies to go around.

Bible Predictions for the End of the World in 2016

According to Bible experts, the 70 Jubilees do predict the end of the world in 2016. This prediction has to do with the Jubilees cycles, which will end in 2016 with some kind of significant end-of-the-world event. The end of this cycle will result in second coming of the Christ, according to the Daniel's prophecy. During this time, those who sinned and refuse to accept God, will be punished. Here is what Daniel says about the upcoming tragedy:

“A period of seventy sets of seven has been decreed for your people and your holy city to finish their rebellion, to put an end to their sin, to atone for their guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to confirm the prophetic vision, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.” — Daniel 9:24.

Critics of the End of Days Bible prophesies point out, however, that a significant event such as Second Coming of Jesus, should not be associated with death, destruction and punishment. After all, this is supposed to be a joyful event to be celebrated worldwide by believers and non-believers. God is all about love and forgiveness, and Christ is supposed to bring peace and stability during his next visit to Earth.

Donner Party End of the World Predictions for 2016

Donner Party expedition took place in 1846-1847 and went down in history as a tragic disaster resulting in death of 39 people. In April 1846 a total of 8 families decided to leave Springfield, Illinois, in search of a better future in sunny California. The expedition was organized by a businessmen James Reed who wanted to move to California to build a more prosperous business. The total of 9 new wagons was purchased for this expedition, as well as all of the supplies to support 32 people on this journey.

George Donner, a farmer in his 60's, was chosen as a wagon train's captain. He was also joined by his brothers and their families for this trip. Later on, somewhere close to Mississippi River, Donner Party was joined by few more families with the same objective, bringing the total number of travelers close to 90. Few months into the journey, James Reed decided to take a new route through Sierra Nevada Mountains hoping to use this 300 mile shortcut for his advantage. Only some families decided to follow him, so, the train was broken in half.

To make the story short, Donner Party became trapped in severe snow storms and ran out of food and supplies. People started to die and, eventually, the remaining members of the group were forced into cannibalism for survival. Only five women and two men have survived this tragedy.

Later on, the excavations were performed by Professor Lloyd Cunningdale of Salt Lake City and a group of his students. Supposedly, an article was published by Professor Cunnigdale in Weekly World News claiming that he and his students have found a time capsule during their excavations. This time capsule contains lots of predictions for the future. One of them is the warming of a great proportions biological disaster, more likely a warfare, which is supposed to take place in 2016 and "kill all of the humans on the planet".

My investigative nature took me on a long journey to research the possibility of this being a true story and, I regret to inform you, but this piece of information doesn't seem like anything credible. First of all, I was not able to locate the original article anywhere on the Internet. No details are published anywhere rather than a few sentences on the blog posts warning of the upcoming disaster. Second, a diary was kept by Patrick Breen, a member of the Donner Party expedition, and this diary contains a number of entries related to the harsh weather and survival of the families. The diary was later published and it has no predictions for the further whatsoever. Besides, it seems very unlikely that people fighting for their survival would concern themselves with the predictions for 2016. The diary mentions that the snow was so deep that the travelers were unable to even find the road or reach the ground trying to dig themselves out. How was it possible for them to bury the time capsule containing the predictions? One more thing to keep in mind: 1847 was not the time when people knew anything about biological weapons, because many of them were farmers.

Predictions About Word War 3 in 2016

Increasing tension between the major power nations in the world does cause lots of World War 3 predictions to go around. We truly live in very troubled times when conflicts arise almost in all parts of the world. Poverty, inflation, fight for natural resource, greed and corruption create more and more problems in many countries. Eventually, these problems extend to become conflicts on a global scale involving other nations.

Very few online news publications such as Value Walk point out that World War 3 is imminent and more than likely will erupt in the Middle East. The timing remains unclear, but the overall predictions paint a sad nuclear doomsday scenario. There is a possibility of nuclear bomb detonation on American soil, according to those predictions, and there is a possibility of more than a dozen nations involved into this deadly Armageddon.

According to Pastor Ricardo Salazar, who also predicted asteroid impact as mentioned earlier, World War 3 is to ignite in the beginning of 2016 between China and Japan. Published on Latinos Post article in November 2015, says that Pastor Salazar claims to have a special connection with God who came through to the "New and Self-Proclaimed Nostradamus" in his dreams and visions. Latinos Post also mentioned that Pastor Salazar is a Peruvian lawyer who now lives in Japan and predicts the Second Coming of Christ around 2023.

More End of the World in 2016

There are few more predictions for the end of the world in 2016:

  • Area 51 Alien Interview was posted on YouTube and predicts the end of the world in 2016

  • Blood Moon natural phenomenon was interpreted by few pastors and numerous "experts" as the sign of the end of days and dark times for humanity in 2016

One more very important prediction:

Professor Gary Shogren from Aberdeen University says: "You'll never go broke predicting the apocalypse".
