Actually I think it hits late teenagers hardest, harder to find a job, wages are down, it's tough enough starting out when things are good.
Why do you ask?
Teenage unemployment is about triple what the national rate is, so they are obviously affected. They also live in households with one or both parents, many of whom may also be unemployed. Many of those with jobs struggle with food budgets, rent or mortgages, and other obligations, which can have both physical and psychological consequences on teenagers whose cognitive functions are still developing.
I'm in my early 20s, with a degree, and it was very difficult to find jobs. Even entry-level no skills jobs only wanted workers with "experience", for minimum wage. It was rather ridiculous. No one wants to train anymore. Luckily I did eventually land a decent job with a future.
Teenagers were hit very hard. Many do start paying some of their own personal expenses when working, and a few even learn how to manage money. Others save money for going to college, and they all get the experience of having to meet certain responsibilities and others actually get a better idea of what they want to do or not do in the years ahead.
So has the recession not only had a monetary impact on the teens, it has also deprived them of some excellent learning opportunities that many of us had when we were growing up, that made us better workers in our later years.
Yes, definitely. College grads are taking part time retail jobs, and other entry level positions that don't require a minimum education. It all trickles down... There are NO jobs for high school students in my town: We have over 13,000 college students, another 10,000 community college and tech college students, and the only industry we have here is shipping and retail. College kids find it hard to find part time jobs.

This is, of course, an open question since he has just started his four years, but since the RINO Party is already saying defeating Covid and growing the economy is a disaster, I thought I would start a thread that proves them wrong.I just listed two things he has done:- Got America well on its way...

I was one of many individuals yesterday that, was disappointed in the Senates refusal to fund emergency unemployment benefits for millions of Americans across the country who, were in desperate need of it, using the catchall excuse their reluctance to add more to an already growing deficit...
