There may be many a definitions for virtue, but in a simple and straight terms virtue is a deed that provides solace and comfort to the heart. So anything can be great if it provides personal satisfaction. Obeying God. Feeding a poor. Quenching the thirst. Helping a needy. Giving charity. Providing shelter to the homeless. Being Obedient to the parents. Behaving well with friends and neighbors. Serving the nation and the country... The list goes on. The crux of the concept is that it should be a matter of comfort to the heart, after a virtuous act there should not be any confusion.
It's a fact that comfort and satisfaction depends on intention of the deeds,  if intention is good a person can be happy by merely providing a glass of water else millions of bucks in charity will cause confusion. So the idea of greatest virtue is an understanding that it's all about a virtuous act performed with pure intention for the sake of God and welfare of humanity.

I will have to settle on Charity as the greatest virtue. Charity also referred as "love" is held to be the highest perfection of the human spirit, because it is said to both glorify and reflect the nature of God. Confusion can arise from the multiple meanings of the English word "love". The love that is caritas is distinguished by its origin, being divinely infused into the soul, and by its residing in the will rather than emotions, regardless of what emotions that manifest. According to Aquinas, charity is an absolute requirement for happiness, which he holds as man's last goal. Keep in mind, Charity has two parts: love of God and love of man, which includes both love of one's neighbor and one's self.

The greatest virtue to me is humility, why? It is not about pride or arrogance.
