I really don't know.  They are both so awful it's just hard to even think about or care to be honest.  Two of the most hated, dishonest candidates of all time.  I guess it will all come down to which "evil" people are made to fear the most.  Boy oh boy do we need a viable 3rd and even 4th party in the US.  It's never been more apparent than this election.

    Trump
He is the only non politician in the running, and anyone that the RNC might like to run instead of him would be just another politician. It is the politicians from both parties that have and continue to cause the decline of the US.
Look back at the last several presidents and none of them stopped the US decline.
So electing any party politician will not change the trend of results. If you don't change the input how can you change the output.
Trump has not been owned by the RNC, and he would be able to make some changes that politicians can't do.
What has either party with their divergent goals done to stop the decline much less put us on the road to prosperity.
Party loyalists allow the feuding to go on and on for at least the last 100yrs. Even a team of the best players has to work like a team to win, and congress and the presidents have not worked as a team.

So it is refreshing to see both Sanders and Trump run without a chain. Although, the DNC finally put the leash on Sanders.

As someone once said, the far left and the far right are the gutters, we need to walk down the road. Trump is not at the gutter and he is the one on the road. I believe he could cross the aisles, while no loyal party politician has done that, not in decades at least.

The politicians use the Search For the Guilty, but that is not a Solution, it is simply a sign of political failure. This is also followed by the party sheep, aka loyal party members.

Trump will win the election because people are tired of Congress and the presidents losing the game. The game of their lives, as 46 million people are on food stamps, the wars rage on in the world and the US is involved in them in one way or another.

Jobs continue to leave the country, and they have done it under both parties.
My point is that Trump is the only choice to break the party cycle of decline.
People that have been in government for a long time like Sanders, and Clinton had their chance to help the US and the people and they flat out failed. What are they going to do different or better? Nothing.

Trump may have had 4 bankruptcies but he bounced back using the government rules of engagement. The US by definition can't go bankrupt because they just print more money and borrow even more money. $20 trillion dollar debt before the end of the current term. That is worse than bankruptcy as you keep going further into debt.

If black lives matter has a day of rage across the US and makes 2016 repeat the 1968 riots that burned down neighborhoods in several cities, they guarantee Trump will win as the law and order candidate. Because all other considerations pale in the face of fear for your safety.
Ditto if there is another major terrorist attack and Democrats blame generic "extremism" instead of Islam, while simultaneously and immorally lumping conservatives in with jihadis.
