After 33 years in technology my wife and I decided to move to France. We bought a lovely former watermill and turned half of it into a gite which we rent out to holiday makers visiting the South of France.
We also have a couple of other irons in the fire and use the internet to market our businesses and sell things from our travel shop and soft furnishing business.
I have also recently started to take commissions for website design, something I enjoy doing very much.

My late brother and his wife moved to the south of France and renovated a very old watermill called the Moulin de Madone in the departement Monclar d'Agenais. His widow still lives in the Moulin, a wonderful, magical place where I have spent some great times, and some sad ones.
Looking forward to reading your writings about the places in France.
