I'm a writer/researcher in Canada, originally from New York City - I'm working on my fourth unpublished novel (a mystery set in Victorian Brooklyn with a female detective), and write a history/genealogy blog and a fun retro blog (I have a lot of fun writing it, anyway).

I like all sorts of pop culture stuff from the Victorians to the 1980s, old movies, weird old advertisements and Victorian true crime.
