Hi - I've recently moved to the beautiful Axarquia region of Andalucia in Spain.  I'm surrounded by beautiful, peaceful scenery with very little traffic apart from the local herd of goats passing by with their tinkling bells!  I love to sit on my terrace painting, writing and generally chilling out.

I am hoping to write about some of my experiences since moving here - both the good and the, frankly, awful.  I want to show both sides so that people can see a balanced view.

I also want to write about some of my hobbies such as cooking and painting but they may follow a little later!
