I enjoy writing on gardening topics like growing tomatoes, and spend a great deal of time gardening, in spite of the fact that Texas can be a tough place to raise vegetables. I like to collect garden gadgets, and like to write reviews about things like compost tumblers.
Related to gardening, I've started to collect some decorative birdhouses in the back yard, and enjoy trying to attract birds to them.
Over the years I've spent more time than I should studying investing, and trying to find things like the best mutual funds and how to trade them. I enjoy writing on varous investing topics as well.
Recently I'm spending more time trying to find ways to save money on remodeling kitchens and the like as the house ages not so gracefully at times, and the deferred maintenance starts to catch up with us.
The great thing about Hubpages is that it lets you write articles about whatever you like, so I also write about some things that have nothing to do with this stuff.
