Does music help babies sleep?

It can help. Also, 'white noise', for instance when an unset tv channel is left on, or static sound from the radio can also help. You shouldn't be afraid to make a bit of noise around a sleeping baby. It comforts them to know there are things going on around them and you're only making a rod for your own back if you try to keep noise levels to a minimum from the very start.

well i have two kids 1 is 2 and 1 is 8 months.

the older one sleeps with music every night

thebaby however wakes up from every noise so no music for him..
