   Better? No. But easier, and less stressful, yes.
   
   I don't think money buys happiness, because there are plenty of miserable rich folks. I do think a little bit of money buys more options, which can lead to happiness.

   Of course. Money is a tool to be used to pay for enriching life experiences, education, philanthropy, creating jobs, paying bills, etc. Many people believe in their hearts that they will never earn more and claim they are happy with that however, they should knock the fact that life is better with more money. There are some people who have had money and lost it for whatever reason, their fault or not. These people will tell you that life was much better with it.

      Life IS better w/money than without.  That is simple inductive & deductive logic.  Anyone who says that money doesn't buy happiness & that poor people are happy are in........DEEP, DEEP, DEEP DENIAL.

   Money can buy happiness not directly but if you use the money in a perfect way then I think money can buy happiness and love. I am not saying that money is everything but I am saying that money can be a source to do good things and to make life beautiful and successful.

      I agree monic-alang money is a "tool", or it's like electricity & people won't move without it..A loving person shares their wealth, but a greedy selfish person keeps all their wealth..Which is 99.99% of "all"  the greedy celebrities out there.

   Well it depends on which way you look at life mate, & what you think were all doing down here....I mean money will & does buy happiness, & the more money you have the more "happiness" you can buy..However happiness is only ever a temporary state of mind, & eventually you will need a bigger better faster "thing" to bring more happiness..Look at the rich people of the world who came from nothing, but now they have everything & 10 mansions & a dozen flash cars etc..What people don't realise is those people "have" to have all that stuff, because happiness from money is only ever temporary & people will get bored of it....Life is always better the more hobbies passions & interests that you love doing, & if you do that with people you love you don't need the money....Money is the biggest "red herring" on the planet, & is specifically designed to enslave the people, & to stop them finding their hobbies passions & interests basically love..The Beatles sang "money can't buy you love", & it is 100% true a fact of life..So yes money is very handy to have as long as you don't have more than you need, but we're not here to become rich we're here to find contentment & ascend....So contentment is filling all the areas of our life up with love, things we love doing with people we love & then get everyone else doing things they love doing. :-)

   Yes life can be (better) with more money especially when it comes to the "creature comforts". Sleeping in a nice warm bed with 1100 thread count sheets beats sleeping outdoors on the sidewalk any day!
   Being poor never made anyone happy!
   Sure one can resign themselves to live with less and even learn to be "content" with what they have and not push to acquire more.
   However making the most out of a bad situation is far from happiness. Each of has need to accomplish something worthwhile.
   The world may not owe you anything but you owe yourself the world!
   Do your best to have the best!
   One's happiness is determined by their overall outlook on life and how they feel about where they are in the (moment). Moods and feelings can sometimes shift with the wind without any major  rhyme or reason.

      Some people believe poverty is a virtue or they tell themselves it's not possible to be rich and happy. You have to be one or the other. Having money gives us options, freedoms, and independence. Anyone who is happy with being poor has no dreams.

      Mr. Dashing, those who say that they're poor & happy are in deep psychological denial.There's such a thing as the schizoid personality that's divorced from reality.Sadly,such people are totally divorced from reality.  They AREN'T happy not 1 iota

   Life IS better with a LOT more money in it.  Having socioeconomic wealth affords one better lifestyle choices.  Socioeconomic wealth means better access to health, medical & dental care.  It also means that one has access to better & higher quality nutrition.  With socioeconomic wealth, one has very superior quality health care with the best doctors.  One also has the means to better physical care.
   
   Socioeconomic wealth means that one has a better & safer choice of neighborhoods.  One's children has access to a better quality of education.  With socioeconomic wealth, one's children has myriad opportunities to participate in cultural & intellectual activities.  Studies show that wealthier children have a higher vocabulary & are better prepared academically to enter school than poorer children who are oftentimes at a severe disadvantage. 
   
   Being socioeconomically wealthy means more financial freedom & ownership.  He/she does not have to worry about bills & rent being paid.  He/she has the financial means to basically live beyond the financial rudiments.  He/she has the money to invest for his/her future & the future of his/her descendants.  Socioeconomically wealthy children have a distinct advantage in that they have an easier time in life because their parents left a nest egg for them.
   
   Having socioeconomic wealth means living a civilized, cultivated life.  One does not have to merely exist or rather subsist at a basic, struggling level.  With socioeconomic wealth, one is always several paychecks from homelessness as opposed to the average person who is usually 2 to 1 paycheck from being homeless. 
   
   Being socioeconomically wealthy means that one does not have to worry about the ever fluctuating socioeconomic climate like the middle & lower classes constantly have to do.  It is means being FREE to do what one wishes without always having to worry about budgeting & scrimping on one thing in order to have money for another thing.   People who have socioeconomic wealth has a wider variety of options & choices to REALLY live the way they WANT as MONEY IS NO OBJECT!

      Having options makes life better all around! Financial freedom means you're no longer a slave to an employer or crying every time gas goes up a nickel on the gallon. You can live/travel to warm destinations and enjoy the finer things of life!

   Freeing yourself from the worries of paying the bills and financial worries frees you up to really enjoy life and think about deeper things, and may even enable you to help others, thus life is definitely much better with a little more money in it.

      The deepest a person will ever think in their life, is when they are completely broke cold & almost starving..That's the only way a person can ever learn to feel empathy for the poor starving people in the world, & how we learn to care. :-)
