START THE DAY WITH PRAYER

Total Commitment to Prayer Affects Us

Prayer is communication With God. It is not a one sided communication, it is a commitment to be in touch with the Creator of this universe. It is an opportunity to open up to God and let Him perform his interaction with you. The preparations we make will have an effect on the power of prayer in your life.

Communication is in different forms, such as Writing, Speaking, and Doing. The Words in the Bible provide the Lord God's communication to us. Stating the Words of the Bible with your audible voice, and Putting His Words into action does promote wonderful results to a good prayer life.

Here are some steps to follow that give you a good start on how to dedicate yourself to prayer. And if you learn to listen to the still small voice in your being, it could be the voice of God, giving you response that you need.

HERE ARE THE TEN STEPS TO PREPARING FOR A GOOD PRAYER LIFE

LOVE 1 ANOTHER.

God gave us a commandment. How can we show God attention in our prayers if we don't love our fellow humans?

Give 2 The Needy and Poor

Our actions speak louder than words. He expects us to lose ourselves in order to gain more of Him.

As you pray, 3 Persons in God should Be addressed.

We ask God the Father in the Name of His Son, Jesus, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, then make our request known to Him.

Always ask God 4 the forgiveness of all your sins, known and unknown, in the name of Jesus.

To do so, we acknowledge that Jesus Christ's Purpose on the cross and we enter into His Promise of Eternal Life.

Use your 5 Senses to Locate impending Danger from the Fiery Darts of the Enemy!

Psalm 59. verses 1 and 2 is a good prayer. "Deliver me from my enemies, O My God; Defend me from those who rise up against me. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from blood thirsty men."

Try to Fast for 6 Hours Before you Pray.

Fasting doesn't just refer to just food, but to other lustful or greedy desires or behaviors, like indulging in things that have nothing to do with God, like sports or television or shopping. By fasting, you will put your mind in Order so that your attention is on the One and Only SOVEREIGN GOD.

Make God First 7 days a week.

Everyday should be treated as the Sabbath Day, for God has said in the Book of Exodus to Moses, chapter 31, verse 13 states, "...Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you...."

Check everything you 8 every day.

A healthy body means a healthy holy temple for your soul to live in.

Live in the 9 behaviors that make up the Fruit Of the Spirit.

Galations 4:22-23 states, "The Fruit of the Spirit are LOVE,JOY,PEACE, LONG SUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE. against this there is no law."

Do these things 10 times over and over.

The more you put into action your promise to Him Who is HOLY then He will call you By Name when We are taken up with Him on that Day of Glory!!
