    Hi vparker,

    your question leaves open if you assume that these events were announced by your dreams or if those things just coincidentally happened to us.
    In the first case I would like to recommend you my hub about exactly this subject

In case of the latter I have to admit that I can not remember any exact dream that "came true" later but that I know the deja-vu-like feeling pretty well. It does not happen to me too often though. Maybe once or twice a year. And as deja-vus, as breathtaking as they might feel, are nothing magical but rather a memory distortion, I do not put too much value in them and just enjoy the feeling.

    Yes, many times. Dreams can be prophetic. Ancient teachers taught that sleep leads to a 4th dimension, which happens to actually be the real world. The everyday world is a reflection, a shadow or the past of that which has already occurred in that world. There are also collections of old thoughts, fantasy and nonsense. Not to be taken too seriously.
