Does God follow his WORD? Or is it --- do as I say and not as I do?
Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Job 2;3 And the LORD said unto Satan: 'Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a whole-hearted and an upright man, one that feareth God, and shunneth evil? and he still holdeth fast his integrity, although thou didst move Me against him, to destroy him without cause.'
From what I have read in scriptures, God does not follow the advice that he gives in his WORD. The above shows him overcome by evil and replying with evil.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
If we are to emulate God as scriptures say we should, should we too ignore his WORD the way he does?
At the end of days and in many biblical stories of the past, God is overcome by evil and responds with evil while telling us we should respond with good.
Which example should we follow; what God says or what God does?
I think that if God is saying, --- do as I say and not as I do, ---- that that is an immoral example that only a satanic demiurge would say. Yet it appears that that is what God is saying.
Should we follow God, --- or his advice and WORD?
They are not the same. One is good the other evil.

DL
To know whether god follow his words, you should first know what god's words are, do you?
The words that you have given are not god's words.
What do god want from us? God would be self sufficient, don't you think?
*shrug* Good point, but he most definitely wants something. And if He doesn't get it, whether we know what it is or not, we burn for an eternity.
God has everything in the whole world. He wants one thing from us… If we do not find that one thing within our hearts, we burn… the burning is of our own suffering from the disconnect we insist on maintaining.

Evena good monk do not want anything except food, then why should a god want anything?
That is for the people who want to make a living by selling god. God never said he would burn any of us.
But the shamans, speaking God's word ex cathedra DO say He wants something. A will filled collection plate if nothing else.
The shaman says "he" wants something. If he ask in his name he will get nothing, but if he ask in god's name he will.
I have never seen God begging.

Does God belong to any religion? My question is if God does not follow any religion then who should we? I asked this question to Priests, pastors and also self proclaimed healers none of whom could answer me satisfactorily. I feel religion is an unnecessary burden on humans.

Why Does God Allow So Much Good In The World? Why does God allow so much good in the world, when sometimes it seems human beings take it for granted? In response to the age old philosophical question of the problem of evil, perhaps there is a problem of good instead. Perhaps we are spoiled. If there...

Why does God allow suffering, troubles, afflictions, hardship? Why doesn't God solve all our problems? How can I learn to trust that God is in control of the problems in my life? How could a good God allow so much evil? Why doesn't He do something about it? Couldn't God have created a world without...
