You know, after all these threads, it occurred to me a strange and novel thought. One that seems to remove much of the trouble and fear on both sides of the theological discussion. One side claims the world is coming to an end. That devastation of surmountable magnitude is at hand. Theirs includes strange beliefs side-by-side with very colorful pictorials. The other side seems to think at times, the end is near --at least for the pro-theo else by the hand of a madman and a little red button. They too have magnificent verbiage and --quite frankly-- odd pictures as well.

I sat back and just wondered, bringing both sides together, on the same table, looking at the pieces of this puzzle. My eyes kind of blurred at all the items mixed together: big-small, smooth-rough, bright-dull. As the pieces fit together, I noticed an interesting image form. It was the image of a human. This face represented the collective humanity and behind them, was an striking scene. The world had ended --as they knew it. Science reached its technological peak, as did religion, as did sexuality, education, food, construction, environment and more. The scene to the average human, was no less than horrific. But to other characters in the scene, it was nothing short of brilliant.

The end had come, but not like the first wanted and not like the second planned. The world reached a climax of all humanistic details and caused the collective to stop being so human and transformed each into a human being.

I truly believe this is what is about to happen to humanity. Science would call it evolution, religion would call it a spiritual awareness, some would call it a consciousness. As a Philo, I would call it a remembrance. Yes, a remembrance of who and what human being were make to be, in the first place.

The pieces fit perfectly with it, they do. The end of technology, medicine, weapons. The end of religions, pseudo spirituality, voodoo woodoo, majik, fear, doubt, and more.

Do you think this could be what both sides have been seeing in the rear view mirror. Could it be they just got the vision wrong or mixed the batter too much? I would like to read your thoughts on this..

    James.

End of technology is an interesting idea. Some technology has reached a peak. My background is Mechanical Engineering and that seems to have peaked 30 years ago. We are celebrating Uri Gregarin's 50th anniversary of the first man in space. Within 10 years man was on the moon. another 10years we had  the space shuttle. In the last 30 years, no great progress and the shuttles are being retired with nothing to replace them. The only technology that seems to be advancing is in micro-electronics and computing or perhaps medical biology. In time I'm sure these too will peak. Perhaps sooner than later as the neu kidz on da block just want to be famous and social network.

In time the End Time prophets of doom will run out of news stories to massage into their interpretations of Revelation. As the years roll by and the sexually impotent Satan fails to spawn an antichrist devil child with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology to run as charismatic leader of a Neo-Roman European Empire, the TBN mandarins will begin to loose their ratings.

I hope that the Church in time will begin to loose its pagan ideologies so that God might be inclined to return to it. I hope that Israel will turn from secularism and return to God. Maybe Islam will calm down and civilise itself too. Then we may have a situation where the Earth is filled with the knowledge of God as Daniel predicted.

From the midst of darkness comes Light
From the midst of chaos comes order
From the midst of Ignorance comes Knowledge.
From the midst of doubt comes Belief

The end occurs when time arrives at its beginning.
When There is no more Knowledge of good and evil.
There is no ,more light and darkness.
There is no more Adam and Eve

In order for a man to see the reconciliation the things of this world unto God, he must first be able to reconcile himself with himself.

Then at that point he see the whole, the all and both the end and the beginning becomes plain. But as long as he continues to see in part... he has not reconciles himself to himself and he remains divided thus doubtful.

So when you look at that which you consider to be the world, what do you see?

Do you see it as that which one should hate, separate and distance yourself?

If you do then your own eyes are still blinded, because all these things are you and a part of you.

All one need to do is to put all these things in their correct place so that each can be used to accomplish it own purpose For an Unto Life.

So it not those who seeks to flee that inherit eternal life but those who see observe and know they are at rest...so they are free to come and go as they see fit....

For they know death is already beneath their feet as a tool unto Life which is themselves.

By the way, where there is the ens thee is also the beginning....

So we see Once more the cycle of time continues for this earth is the womb where all things have their beginning an it will continue forever....

So though it ends for some it is the beginning for others.

It sounds wonderful, and I'll be honest with you; I've had a growing feeling for the last year  or two that there was something big on the horizon. It's what brought me into this forum in search of other voices.

How do you see it happening? What do you mean when you say to the average human it looks horrific?

      j_c,

when I say the "average human" i am referring to the general populous of birth-grow-work-age-die, etc.

I see it happening in two ways:
      1. a global surge peak in communications, tech, ideologies, etc --which by all accounts is happening now, and a gradual shift that causes people to remember who they really are (as Immanu El so well explained/expressed).
      2. Is a quick explosion of Spirit that causes a change reaction, one person to the next, that in literally a second causes them to just stop relying on the out-world to do the things they are doing.

As Disappearinghead said, the earth will eventually be filled with complete knowledge of Creator. I believe all the aesthetics humans are using now are a replacement for real things they once knew -like communications -cell phones, computers, etc, languages, the sciences of Quantum, and more. That humans understood the elements completely, the animal kingdom --without using machines/mechanics; understood health/healing without medicines, understood and were by their very nature spirit -- without being spiritual, religious and so much more.

I might be crazy, but think it is on the very near horizon.

      James.

Crazy? You? You're the smartest guy on this site. Anyway, I'm probably crazy too. Like I said, I've just had a growing feeling that something of great magnitude spiritually is on the near horizon. Couldn't figure out why. You've gotten me hopeful. smile
