Should the Detroit Lions continue to get a Thanksgiving Day game?
Detroit is one of a handful of NFL teams to never get to a Super Bowl. They are generally a pretty bad team. Should the NFL continue the tradition of giving them a game on Thanksgiving Day?
Well, Detroit did have a Super Bowl, but the Steelers won.
I'm really looking forward to the game tomorrow. I'm thinking the Lions will put up a good fight against what looks like the best team in the AFC, the Texans.
I'd rather Detroit have a Thanksgiving game than Jacksonville.
Being a Lions fan is one of the more painful experiences in all of sports. Thanksgiving Day games is one of the few things we have to look forward to. I don't know how much the rest of the country enjoys watching the game, but I can say that people around here LOVE going to this game. For many it is a multi-generational tradition. Taking that away from us would just be cruel and unusual punishment.
Go Lions! I have Matthew Stafford and Mikel Leshoure on one of my fantasy teams. I wish I had Calvin.

The Lions are now losers of two straight and Matthew Stafford says he is fine after tweaking his ankle. Detroit still has two games against Green Bay and play the Bears one more time. Are they in trouble? Is their game against the Broncos now a must win game?

Should they sit Stafford for the remainder of the year? His shoulder is obviously bothering him, id hat to see him have damage done that will affect the rest of his career. Hes had a good rookie year, let the shoulder heel. sit him. no point in him getting banged up every week.

I would like them to change it so that the Cowboys and Lions didn't play every season. The Lions haven't won since 1993, so you know one game is going to be bad right off the bat.My idea would be that the winning teams then host the Thanksgiving games the next year. So, New England would host a...
