Sure, it washes and I'm not easily grossed out -- just would make sure to scrub up really well before letting my hands get anywhere near my eyes or other easy entrance point for nasties. The money washes too, but I'm sure it would be easy enough to dry out and exchange for $20s if anyone didn't like where it came from
