If given a chance are you willing to undergo cosmetic surgery procedures? Why or why not?

Many people nowadays are undergoing cosmetic surgery and it is one of the fastest growing field in medical surgery.  From jaw tightening, nip and tuck, breasts and chin implants plus aging related plastic surgeries, it seems that it is the in thing nowadays. if you have the resources will you undergo under the knife procedures? Discuss some benefits and risks of it?

I would not undergo cosmetic surgery because I have had health related surgeries and I know it is not fun to be recovering from them. I think people put too much focus on their looks and are trying to fit in and look perfect but it is just a trifle. Any surgery brings a risk and it is just not worthy. Try to be happy and active in your life and you will see that your focus shifts from negative worries about your looks to a healthy glow of inner satisfaction that truly attracts people to you.

Honestly, I am not too fond of my wide forehead / high hairline. I don't know if there is such a thing or if it qualifies as "under the knife", but I would undergo surgery to have additional hair implanted so that my hairline lowers by about half an inch from the top and sides.

Yes there is a surgery that lowers your natural hairline, for people who have large foreheads/high hairlines. I do not think it is the most appealing procedure though.

No thank you! I think that we (as a nation) are too concerned with perfection. No one is "perfect" regardless of how many surgeries they have.

No one wants to work for anything anymore. They would rather have liposuction than change their lifestyle and work out. They want the quick, "easy" fix.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes people HAVE to have surgery to save their lives, but most of the time, the surgeries are just cosmetic.

I am really against young girls having surgery. I think that it's such a wrong image to display and teach that beauty is only skin deep. If you don't like something about yourself, then pay to have it changed.

Both of my grandmothers had lines, wrinkles, saggy skin, and white hair. They were the most beautiful women in the world in my eyes. I enjoyed every minute spent with them and I would have never changed their appearance for the world.
