i dispute your way of doing a chest measurement. if you measure armpit to armpit then double it,...
surely this would only give you the chest measurement of something as flat as a piece of paper? and doesn't take into account the thickness of the human body. i only raise this point because i am at present in dispute with a retailer over just this point.
We're not talking about measuring a body; we're measuring a piece of clothing designed to fit a body. You can take a piece of wrapping paper and wrap it around a box, and then flatten it out and measure it. It doesn't mean the package was flat.
The garment is not the exact size of the chest or it would be tight to the skin. It needs some amount of looseness for comfort and drape. The armpit to armpit method works great, unless the person is pregnant or has an extremely large belly. Then you will take the back measurement plus from the armpit to the buttonhole and from the other armpit to the button, and do the same thing at waist level. This kind of measurement is used in suits labeled "portly."

My latest hub is about armpit waxing and it almost never shows any ads. I can't really figure out why. This is the first hub I wrote after doing some keyword...

the English foot. It is amazing that it is still used todayor is it really a coincidence? I find it hard to believe that God would give humanity this system only once, and let it go into disrepair for ever. I think God is in the process of reviving the old system, the divine system, which is the...

Some people think that zero is nothing. I know for a fact that zero represents "cannot count". Because we create units and assign numbers to them. that is why zero=infinity.Numbers are abstracts that allow us to measure whatever it is we like to measure. Zero is just a...

Just because they accuse you of cheating, does it mean that they are doing it?It's usually said that if he or she is accusing you then that means they are doing it? How true is this when it comes to relationships? If you feel it's true then why?
