   How can I record a song on Cubase software without an instrument?
   
   I don't know how to play an instrument, but someone told me you can record the voice and also guitar effects and drums but I don't see where to do that?

   You have to use the MIDI sequencer.
   
   If you do not have any experience with a MIDI sequencer you may find this to be very difficult. However, if you're a proficient musician, and have even limited knowledge of a sequencer, you can make some great stuff.
   
   It is ultra-time consuming at first.
   
   I'm not familiar with CuBase specifically, but it's all the same. Let me know if you'd like me to elaborate.

   the instruments within cubase aren't that great for the purpose you want.
   
   for making music without intruments check out fruity loops or a program similar to that nature.
   
   To record voice you'll obviously need a microphone, and the guitar effects need to be applied to some audio source.
   
   Your looking at making music via MIDI, and again something like fruity loops would be easier if you dont have a midi controller or keyboard
