Article Spinning HubPage Challenge

Updated on July 17, 2010

Important Announcement:

The most powerful article spinning software is about to be revealed, more powerful than anything currently available, it will be incorporated into the most popular operating system and is absolutely guaranteed to beat Google’s duplicate content filter. No other piece of software has been in development longer, there’s no steep learning curve, you don’t even have to login and give up your email address to download it, and best of all it is completely free. What’s it called? THE BRAIN!

End of announcement.

Article Spinning, A Complete Misnomer

Spinning is a public relations tactic employed to gloss over the gaffs by politicians and celebrities. Poor public image can cost elections or crush lucrative endorsement deals, spin doctors exist, then, to present the nefarious activities of the rich and famous in a better light. Article spinning, on the other hand, is a complete reversal of this tactic that can best be described as deliberate attempt to self sabotage the ‘author’, the company or the products being promoted by posting low grade crap all over the web.

Article Spinning Hubpage Challenge

In previous hubs I have voiced my opinion about Article spinning, those hubs have attracted comments that both agree and disagree with my point of view. One commenter, Terry Glass, is an advocate of article spinning and writes very eloquently on the subject. As a result of our ongoing discussions a new HubPage challenge has been formed. Terry is attempting to get as many Google first page rankings as possible for the term ‘Article Spinning’ using his article marketing and spinning expertise. I, on the other hand, am trying to achieve the same by using article marketing techniques but without spinning any articles. The winner will be judged as whoever has the highest number of first page rankings on May 31st 2010.

At time of writing it has been little more than a week since the challenge was set so there is very little to comment on. As time progresses and our individual techniques come into play a clearer picture will emerge. It is my intention to update this hub every Sunday, so if the outcome of this challenge interests you stick around.

Sunday 7 March

It has been a very busy for me and unfortunately I have had no time to participate in the challenge this week. I see Terry has edged ahead in this time and that he is working with many pages with a view to putting them on page one. Well it is still early days and I am not overly worried at this time. Hopefully next week I will have something more positive to report.
