If you would have the choice, would you go Back-packing in South East Asia or South America?
HEy everybody. After my studies I want to go Back-packing for a year once more but right now I simply cannot decide, if I want to go to South East Asia or South America. I mean both are awesome, so please tell me what you think.
I agree that both are awesome.
South-East Asia is cheap and I think easier to get around. People speak English when you need it but in South America you really need to know some Spanish. I think South-East Asia is also safer than South America though you'll still be seen as a rich foreigner.
I see you're already in Argentina so you have the benefit of knowing Spanish (I don't know to what extent). If you haven't been to Asia yet then I think that's a better experience for you as you've already experienced some of the South-American lifestyle.
For example, South America would be new to me but other South-East Asian countries would be similar to what I've already seen in Singapore and Malaysia. Sure, many countries there are different and I'd love to travel there but many things would be similar to what I've already seen.

Did Adolf Hitler really commit suicide or did he escape to South America?I've always bought the official story that Hitler and his Wife/Mistress? committed suicide in a bunker however, I don't believe a body was ever found? I heard some compelling stuff awhile back that he in fact escaped to...

Why do we keep eggs refrigerated? Having traveled through South America and Asia, no one kept...eggs refrigerated. Additionally, the eggs on my grandparents farm were never refrigerated that I recall growing up. So why do we refrigerate them now?
