Where did you spend your vacation last year?

It will be a good source of information and experiences that fellow hubbers and HP readers might try to go to the places you'll be sharing.

Well, rather close to home, as it was in Arizona.  Prescott area to be exact, and the weather was beautiful!  Had some rain, cool summer days and cooler nights, all when my home town was sweltering in 110+ degree temperatures.  Hiked and picnic-ed in the beautiful Lynx Lake area, hiked to Indian ruins and got sprinkled upon.  Had a personal guide who hiked us to Watson Lake area which was a beautifully exhausting trail for me because of the climbing and boulders...but again it was gorgeous far-reaching scenery and great exercise.    Also visited Whiskey Row and then several antique shops including my favorite, the Bayberry Antique Doll store.  There was also some kind of holiday celebration going on at the Town Square with fun music and great food!  Wonderful!
