Hello Fellow Hubbers!
I’m very excited to join this creative community of writers sharing their passion and knowledge on such a broad range of topics!
A little bit about me: Born and raised in New York, I grew up spending much of my time in the woods, fields, and mountains of upstate New York. As such hiking and nature are some of my greatest passions. Native American through my father’s lineage, I have a deep respect for the Earth and all things made by the hands of the Creator. Protecting and caring for these gifts from Spirit is one of our divine responsibilities as co-creators on this beautiful blue planet. Rediscovering and relearning how to live in harmony with the Earth and all of Earth’s inhabitants can be a joyful exploration that reconnects us to our inner Being and puts us on our true path. I love topics of a spiritual nature and believe we’re all on a spiritual journey whether we realize it or not. I have a great passion for personal environmental sustainability as I feel we all must take individual responsibility for the world we live in. One of my personal goals is to help teach people how to do this as I also continue to learn more every day.
As a third generation herbalist through my mother’s lineage and through learning of the plant wisdom of my father's people (the Mahicans of the Algonquin Nations) I developed a deep love for herbalism and alternative healing methods. Through this passion I founded Green Girl Herbs and Healing (www.greengirlherbs.com) a business dedicated to providing individual private healing sessions as well as classes in herbalism, shamanism, Plant Spirit Healing, gardening and Native American herbalism, spirituality and practices. I recently launched my herbal products line of organic herbal teas and healing remedies.
I enjoy writing on the topics of nature, sustainability, herbs, gardening, homesteading, Native American culture, metaphysics and anything else that passes my fancy.
Thank you for reading my bio. Feel free to send me a message as I always love to connect with others and share ideas.
