PASTOR, JOURNALIST & ENTREPRENEUR
Reginald Boswell was born in Boston Mass.to Mr. Walter Boswell (Pine Level AL) and Mrs. Helen Boswell (Fitzpatrick AL). He gave his life to the Lord on June 29, 1989, at the age of 21. Boswell joined Holy Temple, Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in So Toms River NJin 1991. He lived next door to his churchwas committed to church maintenance and fully supported Pastor David C Graham. He received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at an Assemblies of God, church meeting under Youth President Zarita Mattox. Boswell became a community organizer, activist, cubmaster, and entrepreneur while being VP of the local NAACP branch, and an intern for Governor Whitman of NJ.
Boswell received an Undergraduate degree in Theology from the Orlando Theological Seminary (1995). AlsoB.A. degrees in History and Education from Georgian Court University in Lakewood NJ (1997). Boswell later received a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from the Minnesota Graduate School of Ministry via OL Meadows School of Ministry ten years ago.
Boswell is a master of his trade with over 30 years of experience. He began Cleaning Carpets as a part of his earlier church maintenance duties. He later worked for Sears Carpet Cleaning and excelled. Boswell began BFC Tech LLC dba BFC Carpet Cleaning in Madison Co AL.and is currently the owner-operator.
In 2002 Boswell started writing his first book The Origin of Luciferan Doctrine and Man‘s Ascent to Glory whichwas completed in 2012. Meaning Walk his second book was published in 2019. In 2011 Boswell became a COGIC staff writer. First for Inspirations today with Charles E Blake. Currently, as a senior staff writer for The Whole Truth Magazine, Boswell serves to produce timely articles at the discretion of leadership.
Boswell met his lovely bride Carolyn A. Lewis as they were both members of Draper Memorial COGIC in 2009. They later joined True Light COGIC under the leadership of Supt. Terrell Harris Jr. together where they both remained members until 2021.
While there Boswell taught Men’s Training Classes and received numerous awards among which the Leroy Jefferson Williams, Man of the Year Award (2019), and was recognized by Mayor Tommy Battle for his distinguished service in ministry.
Answering the need of people who were unable to attend church services during a worldwide pandemic, in 2021 the Boswells started Berea Church Mission in Rogersville AL. After churches began to offer in-person services in Rogersville. On Sept 19, 2023, Boswell became Pastor of Holy Temple COGIC in Decatur and was officially installed on March 15, 2024 by COGIC AL Prelate Bishop OL Meadows.
