Catherine (Povloski) Welborn is an artist and writer from Northwest Florida. She learned much about art and literature through the Public Broadcast System (PBS). As a child, she painted happy little trees with the Bob Ross show and created stories inspired by Reading Rainbow and the After School Special.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, she has had many opportunities to travel, work and live abroad. Her journeys have taken her to several countries including Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, and Kenya.
Catherine currently holds an Associates degree in the Visual Arts program at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida. She works in a variety of mediums and currently enjoys writing about arts, cooking and poetry.
