rotweiller, pit, Shar-Pei mix has recently begun the vomit/gagging thing
the vomit/gagging thing (last week brought up white foam now there is nothing coming up) When I take him for walks he pants and is quiet He's choosing sleep over activities lasting more than 10 minutes. I checked his stomach and throat and he did not react badly to either although about 2 minutes after the throat palpation he did the vomiting/gagging reflex thing again but nothing came up as has been the case the past 4 days.
Is his behavior a sign of something wrong? We are currently unemployed and I hope you can offer some home remedies for your suggestions. I love my dog, he is m
how old is he? what has he been eating?
panting and white foam can be a sign of stress if no strenuous activity preceded the episode.
i would recommend calling a vet's office for advice even if you cannot afford to bring him in. if he is an older dog, there is the possibility he is having seizures.
