my dog has eaten a tub of my folic acid tablets what should i do .is it harmful to him
he is a greyhound and he is 4 years old there were alot of tablets in the tub and iam really worried incase it is harmful to him
Vitamin B is water soluble meaning the body uses what it needs and secretes the rest in the urine. I wouldn't worry to much. Just make sure he can't get at them again.
Niacin is water soluble also but it causes the body to feel as though it has a severe sunburn and the blood rushes through the body, if overdosed.
