do i need a top for the fish tank so the smell wont smell in the house
my fish tank'S top broke so we left it like that and suddenly its startin to smell... do i need the top so it wont smell in the house or we wont be able to smell it?
It appears to me that you are not able to care properly for the tank, the water, or the fish. Dump it all into the alley.
Properly balanced water, fish, etc. that is kept clean should not smell (bad, anyway). Something is not ok. Take a sample of water to the fish store and ask for their help.
no, u need 2 change the water & get a good filtration system
If your fish tank smells bad you should change the water. I dont use a top and my fish tank doesn't stink.
You probably have a over crowded tank, you overfeed your tank or have a ammonia problem do a 50 percent water change, with the gravel vacuum.

Is a no-fish tank or aquarium a good idea for a beginner? If a saltwater aquarium is much harder to maintain than a freshwater one, how about an aquarium with only coral and other plants but no fish?
