when female Betta approaches the male, he flares and also attacks what should i do to breed them.

my male is 3 inches and i have 3 females with him of size 1.5 inch in a tank containing 12-15 litres of water. he has built a bubble nest under a leaf but he attacks their fins

They're not ready, separate them or they will cause damage to each other. What do the females look like? Just because he's ready, doesn't necessarily mean they are...they need to look like they just swallowed a marble. I've also bred bettas many times, but have never had more than one female in at a time...I've kept a single male and a single female in the same tank with a divider until both fish are ready, and then allow them together until just after spawning and then remove the female. Also, do you have any Indian almond leaf or its extract? Adding it to the water helps mimic their natural breeding season.
