When you put your dog in the crate, reward them with a treat. You never want to punish them by putting them in the crate. They will never want to go into the crate. You want them to feel like that is their place. For potty training. You have to take them outside and wait for them to go pee. As soon as they do, say "goodboy" or "goodgirl" and give them a treat. Keep repeating. If they go in the house and you see them, yell "no" and take them outside immediatly and put them on the grass. Just keep repeating those steps and they will be housebroken in no time.
