How do I stop my dog from biting kids when they run outside?

When my kids are playing outside and they run, my dog gets excited and runs with them and tries to catch them and because he doesn't have hands, he bites them to I guess sort of say "I got you". I don't know what to do to break him of this.
maybe you can try putting the mask, get it from pet store. try it for some period... think it could be useful... but dont suffocate him... lolz
