What to do ?
I have an 8 year old staffy which Iv'e had since he was 8 weeks old and is now suffering from fits and he's been on phenobarb but is still fitting on them so I know its a brain tumour I'm very distraught and don't know what to do. He's such a gentlemen and loyal He's never bit anyone or showed any sign of aggression the best of the best, please help
I understand how you feel from personal experience. It does sound like it is the time for you to act in his best interest. You can avoid the decision,
but in the meantime he is suffering the turns and possibly feeling quite dreadful. I had to have my terrier dog Brusty put to sleep, and it is the hardest thing any pet owner ever has to do. Get in touch with APLB (google it) They gave me a lot of support.
It is a very difficult position, but you must put the staffy first, before your own feelings. Wishing you well
