Yes, didn't you see the movie?  Also, any thing that has life is God's creature and He takes care of all his creatures.

If there is a HEAVEN by definition it must have man's best friend.

I believe they do as long as they are a good pet with no meanness in their heart. I'm not ruling out the pets that have meanness put in their hearts by their owners because that is not the pets fault, it is the owners. I think if the pet is naturally mean then heaven may not be the place it arrives.

I believe that they do.  Scripture says that all of creation groaned for the Savior.

Absolutely!  I can't point to any verse in any Holy book that supports this, but I really do think they go to Heaven.  They go wherever their humans go, because their lives and their humans' lives are so intertwined, unlike anything else in the world.

And, I expect my dogs (and cats) to be waiting for me when I eventually pass over.

In my opinion God created Heaven and Gehenna only for human beings and for Genie. As pets or Animals have not blessed with 'discernment', they will not get any punishment(Gehenna) or they need not have to get any reward(Heaven).

I don't believe all pets go to heaven when you look at cartoons and movies like all dogs go to heaven it's a contradiction because some dogs didn't go so yeah... I think it's a balance of good and evil, just like us humans.

Given that everything is made of matter, and matter, once having existed, will always exis(albeit it can change form)-coupled with the belief in a some Christian standpoints that  Animals do have a soul...

    Here is my answer:

'If' there are three realms for matter to exist in: the positive realm, the negative realm and the neutral realm....

My guess would be animal matter would continue to exist in the neutral realm.

Why? Because they have niether merited or dismerited the positive (heaven.

They have certainly not merited the negative (Hell) because Animals have no concept of sin, and that is the only thing that could keep them from it.

The only place left, in my opinion would be the neutral realm (Limbo).

I would like to believe that  dogs go to heaven.  That is what I tell my grandchildren that have lost a dog or any pet.  I tell them he is in doggy heaven.
