What's best for a dog who's afraid of loud noises?
My dog Mojo is afraid of loud noises - from thunder to fire crackers. He tried clawing out of his cage which broke his nails.
When it thunders or hears fire crackers I would take him out of his cage so he doesn't injure himself and give him extra cuddles dogs are like kids they need reassurance when they hear strange sounds...
Mojo is "sound sensitive." I have a sound sensitive dog as well. In fact, she is sensitive about just about everything. I have used the Anxiety Wrap on her long with medication and behavior modification to help her overcome her fear and anxiety. I recommend you consult your veterinarian for a medical work-up to evaluate your dog for any underlying medical issues, then find a food reward-based professional trainer to help you with your dog.

What's best: Long Hubs or sectioned hubs?Do you think it's best to divide a long hub into 3 or 4 parts that can be published at intervals, or is it better to just cram it all into one BIG hub?

We have taken in a young teenager. In two months, her mother has seen her four times for less than two hours - except for the trip to see a movie. She has no winter coat, we have nothing that says we can seek medical care, we can't afford clothes for her (of which she is desperately in...
