   The only reason my dogs like the sunrise is so they can chase the deer and turkey! I really don't think they appreciate the beauty.

   Dogs are colorblind. I think they are more attracted to the sounds and smells of early animal activity at dawn rather than the beauty.

   Yes ! They love the summons of Mother nature.   A new life  ! They come alive and thrive on the wonder of the delightful sun rays on the Earth..........As they watch the early morning birds in playful play,as they listen to the loud and dominating church bells ...

   I haven't seen any dog/cat sitting alone enjoying sunrise or sunset.. :-D That happens only in CATS & DOGS movies.
   
   Like "cat on soapbox" said: they are colorblind..& see world in black & white
   
   But i think they truly enjoy accompanying us, that's why when we are enjoying sunset... they just enjoy sitting next to us..

   My dog hates! But i loves... Usually he loves playing but not sitting idle with me near beaches!
