Have you ever tried teaching your dog to talk ?
When my puppy cries she makes some sort of gutteral sounds from the back of her throat. I then echo that same sound back to her, but with a slight change near to sounding like a word. I try to use what she is capable of, but improve on it. I am beginning to think the only thing I am teaching her is, to worry, and that she now worries that I am going stark raving bonkers.
Thanks for your response...........
Whoops just got a "Your answer is too short. Please make it longer"
So now I need to do a bit of waffly stuff before my THANKS can be shown..
My dogs do not talk but they can howl on command and we do sing all together at times! Our cats freak out, but it is so much fun!
Well Soxton the Dog has 'Something to Say' About this..!
It's great that you are interacting with your dog, but I wouldn't spend too much time trying to teach her to "talk." I like the fact that dogs don't talk - I think that's part of what makes them special.
