How do you feel when you loose your  dear pet?

Different people respond differently when their pets are lost. As it depends on how they lose it. If their pet is kidnapped or if it dies due to any accident or due to natural death.

Obviously sir but there lies a difference when we loose a pet and when we loose a close person

Of course sad, I love dogs a lot and got dozen stories of them in my mind. I have several who pass due to age and few due to accident. Well I usually bury my own dog.

You got a very nice pup in the picture.

Over the years I've lost one kitten to the road traffic, one cat to old age and one other cat to a tumor.

No matter what, I was upset after each one. If they have been part of your life and world for any period of time, you bond with them, and it's upsetting when anything happens to them.

Horrible and lost. Especially when you have so many memories of cuddling or hanging out or playing. What I always miss is not having my furry buddy there just to be with me. I even miss the times when my dog did something bad.

When you lose a pet it is always painful.

I lost my dog about 2 years ago and I still think about her everyday.  I had her for 7 years and losing her was like losing a member of my family.

I had my beloved cat for 17 years.  We named her Mischief which suited her to a T.  Her name described her demeanor.  Lord I loved that cat.  When she went off to die, I felt so lost.  It was hard explaining what happened to my son. He was only 7 when she died.  We all still miss her so.  Not a day goes by that we don't talk about her and the funny antics she did.  But, I will never get another cat. Nothing can replace her.  I wouldn't even want to try to get another cat.

When Drake was hit by a car, he was missing for days.  He crawled home. We searched everywhere, cried, bawled, called for help, cried more, no sleep, no eating, no nothing until he came home.  It was the hardest thing, harder than my failed marriage.

I understand your feelings. Sometimes somethings take a unique place in our life and we remember it everyday even though it no longer exists. And being with someone for 17 years is just like getting married to it, you start understanding each other.

We were devastated, Brandy was a big part of our family.  It took quite some time to ease the pain.  We would swear we heard his tags from his collar.  There really are no words to describe how we felt.
