Have you ever ignored a vet's advice and experienced success treating a pet?
Only in a minor way as I've been with my vets for about 30 years and they're fantastic. But when I had my Rough Collie Megan, she had pancreatitis. The vet's advice was always to give her rice as a light meal and nothing else. But she hated the stuff. So instead I would give her good quality chicken pieces that I had cooked myself - and it didn't do her any harm. I didn't tell the vet though!!
