Does anyone know how to make sweet potato treats for dogs?
I am pretty capable of making a variety of treats for my dogs using human-grade ingredients. However, they love the sweet potato chewies from the pet store, which are exorbatantly priced. I dehydrate lots of stuff but does anyone know if the potato chewies are just sliced thin and dried, or cooked first, then sliced?
I slice first, then cook. It is easier to slice raw sweet potato and the thin slices are easier to cook/dry.

I recently read some reviews on Consumer Affairs, which were absolutely devasting and have got me a little worried. I was wondering if anyone else wrote at similar sites prior to HubPages and why they made the switch, and if they had thought about going back.
