   What will kittens look like with a calico mother and snowshoe siamese father?
   
   Long story short, we apparently didn't get our male cat to the vet in time.  He was neutered a few weeks ago, but our female calico who never goes outside is pregnant and so it has to have been him prior to surgery. ... sigh.  I think these kittens with either be very beautiful or very strange looking.  Anyone had a similar mix for a kitten/cat? - what do you suppose these may look like?

   I'm no feline expert, but I can give some input from my observations of a large and growing feral cat population in our neighborhood. A new batch of kittens appeared recently, about eight of them. They are all so similar in size I assume they came from the same mother, and this is confirmed by one large cat which always seems to be caring for them. Two are calico, three are completely black and three are mixed color. I wouldn't place a bet on what a kitten would look like, even if sure of its parentage

      absolutely, I think these two will have some either very distinctive and lovely kittens or very odd and strange - but that's good too .  As long as they have good personalities and they find good homes.

   You'll probably get a combination of both beautiful and strange. That's usually the world of kittens. A calico with blue eyes would be really cool! You could also get a mixture of short-hair and long-hair or everything in-between. Do the hubpages world a favor, though - post the pictures of the cuties when they get here, along with the parents.
