House rabbit has a vendetta against me. Help. Litter behavior towards human (the mom of the house)
Our house rabbit seems to think I need to be offed -so she can live happily with my husband and our sons.
Mrs. Cuddles is a litter trained house rabbit, that intentionally goes potty on my clothes. If I leave something where she can pull it down, she will.
She has no trouble with litter habits except if she gets near my stuff.
She's 18 mos, had her spayed, that helped, shd used to jump up to my spot on the couch and pee on my spot.Darn thing comes up to me, circles my feet, wants attention, let's me pet her and pick her up. I'm the one that takes care of her the most. How can I fix this?
It's probably something to do with your smell. As a female, you will definitely smell different to animals. Perhaps the rabbit doesn't like this, or more likely, she actually likes it a lot. Rabbits have some strange habits when marking territory and showing they love you! The fact she circles your feet means she is showing you love.
You could try punishing her when she pees anywhere other than her toilet? I used a small spray bottle, and when my bun peed on something (immediately- pretty much AS she was doing it, otherwise she wont understand) I sprayed her a little, picked her up and put her in her cage. After a few attempts of that, she stopped peeing outside her cage/ toilet area.
Good idea! Never thought of a spray bottle. We always discipline her by putting her in her cage. I'm glad you think she likes me. Makes me feel a little better too. Thanks

How do I stop my rabbit from pooping on the couch when he is litter box trained? He knows how to use the litter box but every chance he gets, (usually when I can't see him) he runs over and pees and poops on my couch.
