Why do my cats bat at me, and scratch me? How can I prevent them from doing this?
I have two domestic 4 month old, male cats. They are both nuetered, and very active. They get along well for the most part. They do seem to fight over territory quite a bit, mostly between me and my girlfriend. I am home all day with them, and feed them a very fulfilling, natural diet. However, when I go to feed them, whether it be a meal, or treats, they both bat at my hands using their claws. It's almost like they are trying to fight me for their food. I free feed kibble, give them small portions of wet food 4-5 times a day, and a variety of their favorite treats at night.

Why do some people begrudge others even when they are doing their best?Sometimes I notice that there is a tendency to criticize people who are good at what they are doing. It seems to me that one has to be doing nothing to criticize and doing something to be criticized. Is this true?
