    Gingivitis in Cats

Does anyone have a cure for gingivitis in cats?  My girl's mouth is very sore.

If you think your cat is in pain, you should take her to the vet, not asking this question to a group of amateurs. What your cat needs is a professional so she can be treated with medication.

Have been to the vet and no treatment was given.   Just thought others may have some experience to share.    FYI my cat is taken to the vet regularly.

Hello. Ask your vet for a product called BreathaLyser.  It is a drinking water additive for dogs and cats. You add it to the water daily to help with gum diseases. My cats don't seem to mind it being in their water and drink it as usual. It has helped them quite a bit.

Thanks for this.   Will check with my vet and see if this is available in Australia - I haven't heard of it, and my vet would probably have recommended it if it was available.   Will also check online and see what I can find.
