This is Samson,(photo ctsy.of AWHC ) who has a family and was caught, along with his family, in a trap set up by the BLM over the Thanksgiving Holiday. This was not supposed to happen, but did and now the whole family will be loaded up and shipped out, probably for slaughter, and they will get away with it with no repercussions. This is part of their unending attempt to rid this Country of one of our greatest American Icons. It seems to me that this would come under the heading of " Cruel and Unusual Punishment of an Animal ".These Wild Horses were here even before our Native Americans, and everyone knows what happened to them. In my opinion, this is no different than what Nazi Germany did with the Jewish people.
Like I stated in another post, I have been writing letters to Government Officials for years trying to help get this turned around. But my letters alone will not do the job. There are many different petitions out there that people can sign to make their voices heard. If anyone would like to join in and sign one in particular to help the cause, which I think is a splendid idea, and maybe give a donation, contact, American Wild Horse Campaign. They are very easy to locate on the web. These people are doing a wonderful, tireless job at saving our Wild Horses. But they can not do it alone either. This is one of those endeavors that require us all to pitch in and help. I have seen videos of these slaughter houses at work, and believe me, I didn't have the stomach to finish watching. In my opinion, the way I see it.
The wild Horses out west, are under attack and have been for many years. I think saving them from eminent death is something worth fighting for. There is nothing they have done wrong that they deserve to die for. And I for one will carry the torch for them, as long as I can write.

Could it be that it is easier because you don't have to face them. Could it be that the written word can be taken so many different ways. Could it be that people take out their anger on others so they don't have to look inside themselve?

bankrupting the United States? Before the advent of mass welfare, people worked and made their way in life. No job was too degrading to do as long as it put food on the table, clothes on one's back, and a house to live in. People were PROUD and GLAD to work and be independent! The advent of...
