I think that people forgot about true values in life, and they think more about themself. By the way, try to think what it would be if we could smile to each other? Probably everyone would be more happier.
I agree w/Peterpl people have forgotten common courtesy and politeness are free.
Also alot of unhappy people in the world,that would like you along for the ride.

People are cruel to each other because of selfishness. A selfish person is not usually sensitive to the needs and feelings of those around them. It's sad but our sinful world is full of hatred, cruelty and bias. Many people do not have the love of God in their heart. I believe that God teaches us to be kind and patient with one another.
I think people often displace their own unhappiness onto others. I agree, selfishness, resentment, jealousy are other reasons too.

Why do you say "cruel life?"It appears to be anything but cruel. You seem to have a fine family with the two children and your husband. You have more work than you can do. Sounds pretty good to me.

Why do religious parents tend to act in cruel ways when their children choose a pathor a lifestyle which is VASTLY different than theirs? Why do religious parents feel that their children must also be religious, even to the point of coercing them to remain in the family's faith?
