What are some tips for preserving the integrity of old photographs for long periods of time?
If they are actual photos, you can put them in a photo book to preserve them. If that does not work for you, then you can always get them laminated. I have a friend who has her own laminating machine and it is cheaper to do it that way then to have a company laminate them for you.
You can also scan them and use a photo program to clear up the old photos. Some of these photo programs are: Picasa from Google, Adobe Photoshop, Shutterfly.com, Smugmug.com, etc.
