I use Paint.net and the online version of Photoshop.  They have a lot of editing capabilities and they are both free products.

I use adobe Photoshop and I choose to use this because it is what I started out using when I started in the graphic design field. I continue to use it because the capabilities that the software offers are endless, and it works incredibly well for my photography projects as well.

When I moved and only had access to a PC, I downloaded and used GIMP (gimp.org) a free version of photo processing software that was similar to Photoshop.

I use GIMP, it is FREE! Yes it is not comparable to Adobe Photoshop when it comes to tools but it has just the right tools to edit and create effects to images.

    Adobe Photoshop CS3

It has everything I need to edit my photos and web graphics.

Maybe I got into it because I learned it in College for a while smile
