Can you think of any useless inventions?
This is a practice question for my students' speaking test, and we couldn't think of any! Can you think of any truly useless inventions?
No, I think that is because useless inventions don't stay in the brain for very long until the are shoved to one side as being, well, useless, not worthy of remembering.
The Pet Rock-- though I suppose that doesn't count, since it was supposed to be useless.
On the other hand, if it make you laugh, or makes you feel loved and comforted--or if you use it for a doorstop, perhaps it isn't useless.
The thing is, humans can find some use for anything.
I saw an infomercial that was selling 'Wigs for Cats'.
Actaul wigs for actual cats.
Seriously if there was truly a need for that, the world must be ending.

For the people out there who do not believe in God and you are entitled to your opinions but I am looking for answers from people who actually do believe in God. For those who do believe, if we get people who write anti-God stuff, let's not respond to it and just focus on supporting each other.

I've had a few good ideas I think but never tried to do anything with it. What inventions have you had you wish you could've pursued?
